This lovely award was given to me by my two friends, Eric and Flynn. They gave it to me a couple of weeks ago, right before my computer took a major nose dive. I sure hope you didn't think I was ungrateful, Eric and Flynn, because I really do appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Yikes! Here's what came up for me. This hunk of junk fabulous old truck is something my daddy bean thinks is marvelous. Yeah, it's a real diamond in the rough. I'm not sure why we even have a picture of it other than perhaps we needed a new photo for our dartboard. Anyway, enough about that!

ReplyDeleteOur family kitties when my husband was alive were Silky, Sparkle, Lucy and Pugsy. I still have Lucy and Pugsy. He brought home a truck like your picture and I thought 'Ye gods, what a waste metal'. Then I found out that there was a whole "Cult" of men who did this.
ReplyDeleteIn about a year or so that rust bucket was restored to the most wonderful truck. Later when I needed to, I sold it for $10K. My husband was a smart man.
