If you have to throw up, get to a chair quickly. If you cannot manage to get to one in time, get to a nice area rug. If there is no area rug, any carpet will do. If all else fails, use the bed or the couch.
Yup, good advice. I very rarely yak, but Eric used to do it all the time. He only does it now and again now, but he makes sure he always gets it right in the middle of the carpet where the Beans have to walk. It's funny if they get out in the middle of the night and don't see it. It all squishes up between their toes. Haha! Flynn
For some reason Mommy thinks your advice in no good. She said if we had to throw up we better get out of her house pronto failing that the laminate floors are preferable. Really you would think she would be more worried about us then her furnishings. ~S,S,C & F
Oh Reese, you are the funny kitty! I love your "about to throw-up" picture! Very good etiquette lesson and one that I'll have to teach my cats. Thanks.
Hahaha. I need to keep an eye on Melvin, now. Because he hasn't quite learned these etiquette lessons, yet. Guess I'd better put plastic down!
Melvin and I would like to thank you for your prayers and thoughts on Thursday. I honestly feel that he recovered so well with the help of all his friends sending good vibes.
Lily says once, back when her doggy Tom was alive, Tom threw up and the cousinbean John caught it in his bare hands. She says she can't remember who was more stunned, Tom or John.
We cry first before we get sick and Lily can usually catch it on something. Usually. Cassie calls her Vomit-Wrangling Queen.
Very good advice Reese! We do not throw up much but when we do, we make sure it's in the middle of the night in the path where the beans will walk in the morning!
Reese, darlin', your advice is impeccable and WELL-timed! **TMI ALERT TMI ALERT TMI ALERT** I actually yacked on the carpet in front of the bathroom yesterday! Oh, yeah!
Ok, see my kitties are the opposite of the couch thing - they usually get up and then barf on the carpet. They also like the tile because then it tends to spread out in the grout lines and take up a lot more space. I think they avoid the couch because they like to sleep there and don't want it to be gross/wet from cleaning/smell like the cleaning stuff.
We gave you an award. You can pick it up at our blog.

That is good advise! I don't throw up myself... but my brother Sandusky does.... and he always chooses the rug first!
ReplyDeleteWise words indeed Reese - even us dogs like to follow such sage advice as this! Schnauzer snuggles - JD and Max.

ReplyDeleteOr...you can puke on any V-E-T who dares to show up at your house for dinner.
ReplyDeleteAll 5 cats agree with this rule, lol !
ReplyDeleteI like yakking while the Library is closed, so I can surprise my Staff in the morning!
ReplyDeleteSometimes Chloe likes to use the softness of my mom person's pillow. My mom person makes lots of excited noises when that happens.
ReplyDeleteThanks for that advice Reese.
ReplyDeleteBut sadly I cannot do such thing. If I do that, the lady will hit me hard with a clothes hanger again. :(
